Qualification Details:

Applications are invited from suitable candidates for one position of Junior Research Fellow in an SERB (DST) funded research project entitled "Normal vs. abnormal hematopoiesis- result of a deregulated chromatin regulated by Histone chaperone HIRA?" in the Laboratory of Dr. Debasree Dutta at Rajiv Gandhi Centre for Biotechnology, Thiruvananthapuram.

2. Essential Qualifications

a) Good Academic records with First Class Master's Degree in any branch of Life Science.

b) The Candidate should have qualified National Eligibility Test - CSIR-UGC NET including Lectureship (Assistant Professorship) or Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE)/ or National Level Examination conducted by Central Government Departments and their Agencies and Institutions viz., DBT-Biotechnology Eligibility Test/ Joint Graduate Entrance Examination for Biology & Interdisciplinary Life Sciences (JBEEBILS)/ ICMR Entrance Exam/ Approved DST Inspire Fellowship etc.

c) The candidate should have a minimum of 01-year experience in mammalian cell culture, embryonic stem cell culture, and handling of molecular biology tools.

3. Salary: ₹ 31,000/- + applicable HRA per month.

4. Duration: Initially for a period of one year and extendable till termination of the project based on performance evaluation.
