Qualification Details:
Gujarat Biotechnology Research Centre invites applications from the interested deserving candidate for the post of RA (05), SRF (02) and JRF (10) positions in various research projects. Details of the projects post, essential qualification, and fellowship is given below:
1. Name of the post: Junior Research Fellow
i. Project name: Tissue culture protocol of Teak and Guava
ii. Desired qualification: 1. Post Graduate in Agriculture Biotechnology/ Plant Biotechnology/ Biotechnology/ Microbiology/Life Sciences with NET qualification or graduate Degree in professional course with NET qualifications or Post Graduate Degree in professional course in above subjects. OR 2. Post Graduate Degree in Agriculture Biotechnology/ Plant Biotechnology/ Biotechnology/ Microbiology/ Life Sciences
iii. Experience: Candidate should have a research experience in plant tissue culture
iv. Fellowship: For Junior Research Fellow having desired qualification as per DST, GOI, fellowships will be Rs. 25,000/- + HRA as mentioned at no.1 OR For Junior Research Fellow without NET the fellowship will be Rs. 18,720/- as mentioned at no.2 (HRA will be not entitled)

i. Project name: Development of early diagnostic kit for Alzheimer’s disease
ii. Desired qualification: Post Graduate in Biotechnology/ Bioinformatics/ Human genetics/ Molecular Biology with NET qualification or Graduate Degree in professional courses in above subjects with NET qualifications. or Post Graduate Degree in professional courses in above subjects. Post Graduate Degree in Biotechnology/ Bioinformatics/ Human Genetics/ Molecular Biology
iii.Experience: Candidate should have a research experience in Microbiology, cloning and expression, and Molecular Biology.
iv. Fellowship: For Junior Research Fellow having desired qualification as per DST, GOI, fellowships will be Rs. 25,000/- + HRA as mentioned at no.1 OR For Junior Research Fellow without NET the fellowship will be Rs. 18,720/- as mentioned at no.2 (HRA will be not entitled)

i. Project name: Development of Bioremediation Technology for the treatment of solid waste: A case study on Pirana MSW dumping site (Funded by GSBTM)
ii. Desired qualification: 1. Post Graduate in Microbiology/Biotechnology/ Bioinformatics/ Environmental Biotechnology/Molecular Biology with NET qualification or Graduate Degree in professional courses in above subjects with NET qualifications. or Post Graduate Degree in professional courses in above subjects. OR 2 Post Graduate Degree in Microbiology /Biotechnology /Bioinformatics /Environmental Biotechnology /Molecular Biology
iii. Experience: Candidates having research experience in cloning, expression and NGS data analysis, with good research publication as evidence will be preferred.

i. Project name: Development of plant miRNA based formulation as targeted immunomodulatory for oral & breast cancer
ii. Desired qualification: 1. Post Graduate in Biotechnology/ Bioinformatics/ Human Genetics /Molecular Biology/Cancer Biology with NET qualification or graduate Degree in professional courses in above subjects with NET qualifications. or Post Graduate Degree in professional course in above subjects. iii. Experience: Candidates having research experience in Genomics, NGS data analysis, computational & systems biology with good research publication, as evidence will be preferred.
