Qualification Details:

GTRE, Bangalore under the aegis of Defence Research & Development Organization (DRDO) is a pioneer in design, development, manufacturing & testing of aero gas turbine engines for defence applications. This organization has embarked upon multiple projects encompassing all branches of engineering viz., Aeronautical, Mechanical, Manufacturing, Material, Control, Computer Science & Electronics streams.

i. Online Applications are invited from Indian Nationals for the award of Junior Research Fellowships at GTRE, Bangalore possessing educational qualification and other eligibility criteria as indicated below:

1. Post Name: Junior Research Fellowship (JRF)

2. No. of Fellowships: 7

3. Educational Qualifications:

Graduate degree in professional course (B.E / B.Tech) from recognized University / Institute in First Division with valid GATE score or Post graduate in professional course (M.E /M.Tech ) from recognized University / Institute in First Division both at Graduate & Post graduate level. (Only GATE 2020 & 2021 are acceptable)

4. Subject/ Discipline:

i. Mechanical Engineering
ii. Aeronautical/Aerospace Engineering
iii. Mechanical Engineering (Quality & Reliability Engg.)
iv. Electronics/Electronics & Communication/Electronics & Instrumentation Engineering or eqvt.
v. Computer Science / Computer Engineering/ Information Technology/ Information Science/Data Science or eqvt.

5. Emoluments (Stipend):

i. For 01st& 02nd year: Rs.31,000 /- p.m. Rs.15,000/- per annum on reimbursement basis
ii. For 03rd year (if upgraded to SRF): Rs.35,000 /- p.m Rs.20,000/- per annum on reimbursement basis
