2. Name of the Project: DST-SERB Funded project “Evaluation of immuneenhancing polysaccharides of edible chlorophytan seaweed Ulvalactuca (sea-lettuce) and development of functional polysaccharide nanoparticle”

3. Number of Vacancy: One

4. Nature of the post and duration of the post: Purely temporary for three year from the date of recruitment, or the termination of the project, whichever is earlier.

5. Emoluments:

(a) 31,000/- per month + 18% HRA = 36,580/-to scholars selected through through NET-CSIR/UGC NET including lecturership or GATE or (b) A selection process through National level examinations conducted by Central Govt departments and their agencies/ institutions OR

(b) 25,000/- per month + 18% HRA = 29,500/-who are not NET/CSIR-UGC qualified, and do not fall under the (a) above (Vide OM No. SB/S9/Z-07/2020 dated 25th August 2020)

7. Essential:

Minimum qualification of Master’s Degree inbasic/natural discipline of Chemistry/Organic Chemistry/Chemical Sciences with an experience in research in chemical/chemistry laboratories supported by M.Sc. or other related project document/s. The candidate should have hands on experience in chromatographic/spectroscopic techniques

8. Desirable:Basic and applied knowledge of scientific analysis in chemistry/organic chemistry/chemical sciences.
