Qualification Details:

Sub Filling Up Of Group 'B' & 'C' Posts Non-gazetted, Non-ministerial (Combatised Post) On Deputation Basis In Bsf Engg Setup. It has been proposed to fill up following Group 'B'& 'C° posts in BSF Engineering Setup which is Non-Gazetted, Non-Ministerial (Combatised) posts for a period of as mentioned against each. The eligibility conditions are as under:

1. Position: Sub-inspector (Works)

2. No of Post: 09

3. Pay Scale: Level-6 in the pay matrix (Rs. 35400- 112400) as per 7th CPC

4. Eligibility conditions for appointment on deputation basis: 

Deputation: Officers under the Central Government or State Government or the Central Armed Police Forces.

(a) (i) holding analogous post on regular basis in the parent cadre or department; or

(i) With ten years' regular service in posts in Pay Matrix Level-4; and

(b) Possessing the qualification and physical standard mentioned hereunder:.

(i) Educational Qualification Pass three years Diploma in Civil Engineering from an Institute recognized by the Central Government or the State Government.

 

1. Position: Sub- Inspector/ Junior Engineer(Elect)

2. No of Post: 34

3. Pay Scale: Level-6 in the pay matrix (Rs. 35400- 112400) as per 7th CPC

4. Eligibility conditions for appointment on deputation basis: 

(a) Deputation

(i) Serving Border Security Force personnel in the rank of Sub-Inspector having three years Diploma in Electrical Engineering from an Institute recognized by the Central or State Governments; or

(ii) Serving Border Security Force personnel in the rank of Assistant Sub-Inspector in the PML-5 having three years Diploma in Electrical Engineering from an Institute recognized by the Central or State Governments with six years regular service in the rank of Assistant Sub-Inspector, or

(iii) Serving Border Security Force personnel in the rank of Head Constable having three years Diploma in Electrical Engineering from an Institute recognized by the Central or State Governments with ten years regular service in the rank of Head Constable.

(b) Deputation/Re-employment The Amed Forces personnel due to retire or who are to be transferred to reserve within a period of one year and having requisite experience and qualifications prescribed shall also be considered. Such persons would be given deputation terms upto the date on which they are due for release from the Armed Forces; thereafter they may be continued on re-employment.

(c) The period of deputation including period of deputation in another ex-cadre post held immediately preceding this appointment in the same or some other organization or department of the Central Govenment shall ordinarily not exceed three years. The maxi mum age limit for appointment by deputation shall not be exceeding fifty two years as on the closing date of receipt of applications. The departmental officers in the feeder category who are in the direct line of promotion will not be eligible for consideration for appointment by deputation. Similarly, deputationists shall not be eligible for consideration for appointment by promotion.

3. Pay Scale: Pay Matrix level 4 (25,500-81,100/-) as per 7th CPC.

4. Eligibility conditions for appointment on deputation basis: 

(a) Deputation (i) Head Constables of Border Security Force possess ing Industrial Training Institute certificate from a recognized institute with two years' experience certificate in the respective trade from any Institute or Organization recognized by the Central or the State Governments subject to qualifying professional test; or

(ii) Constables of Border Security Force with eight years' regular service in the levels in the pay matrix and possessing Industrial Training Institute certificate from a recognized institute with three years' experience certificate in the respective trade from any Insti- tute or Organization recognized by the Central or State Governments subject to qualifying of professional test: or

(iii) Personnel holding equivalent or analogous posts in the Army, other Central Para Military Forces of the Central or State Police Organizations, Central Public Works Department or the State Public Works Department or the Central or State Government Minis tries or Departments and possessing the following qualification namely

(b) (i) Matriculation pass or equivalent from a recognized board or Institute

(ii) Industrial Training Institute certificate in respective trade from a recognized Institute with three years' experience in the respec tive trade from a firm recognized by the Central or the State Government subject to qualifying professional test.

(c)For Ex-Servicemen Deputation/Re-employment: The Armed Forces personnel due to retire or who are to be transferred to reserve within a period of one year and having the requisite experience and qualifications prescribed shall also be considered. Such persons would be given deputation terms upto the date on which they are due for release from the Armed Forces; thereafter they may be continued on re-employment.

4. Eligibility conditions for appointment on deputation basis: 

(a) Deputation (i) Constables of Border Security Force with five years' regular service in the grade and with one year experience in the trade Subject to qualifying proficiency test for the trade Note- Those with certificate or diploma in the trade from recognized Institute will be preferred.

(b) For Ex-Servicemen Deputation/Re-employment: The Armed Forces personnel due to retire or who are to be transferred to reserve within a period of one year and having the requisite experience and qualifications prescribed shall also be considered. Such persons would be given deputation terms upto the date on which they are due for release from the Armed Forces; thereafter they may be continued on re-employment.
